ANNOUNCEMENTS

Census enumerators are going door to door this week. The questions and answers are expected to take about 5 minutes. If you do not answer the door, the enumerator will leave a card with a telephone number on it. You can call the number on the card and answer the questions over the telephone or schedule a convenient time for the enumerator to return. Enumerators will make six attempts to contact each residence. You may get a visit even if you returned a completed census form. Call the local census office at 205-535-3510 or 866-872-6868 if you have questions. Census data affects how federal funding is distributed to local governments. When you complete a census form, you help the Tuscaloosa community.
