Yarbrough Named Director of Leadership Gifts for UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Kathy Yarbrough has been named director of leadership gifts for The University of Alabama. In this role, she will lead major gift efforts with potential donors.

Yarbrough most recently served as the lead development consultant for the Cincinnati Symphony. She has held previous positions as director of annual giving at Mississippi State University, director of development for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and numerous key development positions with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. 

“Kathy is a seasoned fundraiser and her knowledge will help us continue to achieve our goals at The University of Alabama. We look forward to working with Kathy to build support and partnerships that will bring further distinction to the University,” said Dr. Pam Parker, vice president for advancement.

Yarbrough grew up in the Tuscaloosa and Starkville, Miss. areas. She received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Mississippi State University.
