TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Miss University of Alabama program committee will host a candidate interest meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
Prospective contestants will receive application information that is due by Friday, Dec. 11. The 2010 Miss UA pageant is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Bama Theatre.
Sponsored by the UA National Alumni Association, the Miss UA program is an official preliminary competition for the Miss Alabama and Miss America programs and is open to all full-time female students.
The winner of the pageant will receive a full tuition scholarship, two book scholarships and numerous other gifts for her year of service to UA.
