TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama is again ranked among the top 50 public universities in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report’s annual rankings for 2010. UA is ranked 43rd among public national universities and 96th among all universities, both public and private.
“Our record applications and growing enrollment are clear indicators that students and their families recognize the quality and value of a University of Alabama education. We are pleased with this external recognition, but we are even more excited about welcoming another excellent freshman class to campus and continuing to provide the best education possible to all our students,” said Dr. Judy Bonner, UA executive vice president and provost.
In addition to the overall rankings, UA’s Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration is ranked 35th among business schools at public universities and 57th among business schools at all universities.
UA has consistently been ranked among the top 50 public universities for the last several years. For a complete report, contact U.S. News and World Report.
