UA Students Bring Holiday Cheer to Campus with Luminaries on the Quad

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — In a community service project that makes the campus festive, students in The University of Alabama chapter of Circle K will host their annual Luminaries on the Quad event Sunday, Dec. 7 from 5-11 p.m.

Luminaries on the UA Quad will line the pathway from Denny Chimes to Gorgas Library and be placed along University Boulevard. Garrett F. Martin, a UA graduate student, will perform holiday music on Denny Chimes; hot chocolate will be served.

This event raises money for gifts to be given to the residents of the W.D. Partlow Developmental Center. Circle K will not be able to accept donations at the event but they can be mailed to: University of Alabama Circle K Club, P.O. Box 861954, Tuscaloosa, AL 35486, or contact Robby Gray at 205/765-3195.
