UA College of Commerce and Blackburn Institute Host Panel on Credit Crisis

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration and the Blackburn Institute will host a panel discussion titled “What does the current credit crisis mean for you? Implications for the UA student body” on Monday, Oct. 13 from 7-9 p.m. in Alston Hall, Room 30. All UA students are invited to attend.

The event is intended to address students’ concerns and fears about the nation’s current credit crisis. Following a brief overview of how the United States arrived in its current financial situation, a panel of University faculty members from the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration will discuss the practical impact that the national credit crisis might have for members of the UA student body. Time will also be afforded for audience members to ask questions.

The event demonstrates the commitment of the UA business school and the Blackburn Institute, a leadership development organization affiliated with the UA’s division of student affairs, to address critical issues impacting the lives of University students.
