The University of Alabama has produced a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) score of 77, exceeding acceptable standards for completion of undergraduate studies nationally for the period covering student-athletes who attended the University between 1998 and 2001, according to figures released by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
“The Wild Party,” Andrew Lippa’s musical set during the Roaring ’20s, opens Tuesday, Oct. 21, and continues through Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Allen Bales Theatre in Rowand Johnson Hall on The University of Alabama campus, a production of UA’s theatre and dance department.
Enrollment numbers are not the only ones growing on The University of Alabama campus as the number of tons of recyclable materials collected by UA over the past year has more than doubled from the previous year.

The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration and the Blackburn Institute will host a panel discussion titled “What does the current credit crisis mean for you? Implications for the UA student body” on Monday, Oct. 13 from 7-9 p.m. in Alston Hall, Room 30. All UA students are invited to attend.
