TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Alumni Magazine has received four national awards in recognition of work in its 2007 spring, summer and winter issues.
The magazine is a publication of The University of Alabama Office of Alumni Affairs and National Alumni Association. UA has produced a publication for its alumni for more than 135 years, making the Alabama Alumni Magazine one of the oldest continuously operating university publications in the country.
The magazine received a gold 2008 Hermes Creative Award for the spring 2007 issue, “Journeys of Discovery.” Hermes is an international competition for creative professionals working in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media, and is judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.
