TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama will hold its spring commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 10 in Coleman Coliseum.
Two University-wide commencement ceremonies will be held this year, at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., to award degrees. Doctoral, Education Specialist, and Master‘s degree candidates will participate with their divisions.
At the 9 a.m. ceremony the Colleges of Education, Nursing, Communication and Information Sciences, and the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration will award their degrees.
At 1:30 p.m., degrees will be conferred in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Human Environmental Sciences, and the School of Social Work.
Saturday’s ceremonies will be broadcast live over the Internet. The web cast will be archived on UA’s Web site, http://www.ua.edu, and will be available for viewing until May 31.
The School of Law will have their ceremony at 5 p.m. Joe Espy III, president pro tempore of the UA Board of Trustees and an officer and director of the Montgomery law firm of Melton, Espy and Williams, will be the featured speaker.
