UA’s Everywoman Book Club to Discuss ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’

Tuscaloosa, Ala. — The Everywoman Book Club, sponsored by The University of Alabama Women’s Resource Center, will meet to discuss “The Other Boleyn Girl” by Philippa Gregory on Thursday, March 27, at noon in The Globe Restaurant.

“The Other Boleyn Girl” is based on the true story of Anne Boleyn and her sister Mary, and their competition for the love and attention of Henry VIII. USA Today calls author Philippa Gregory “the queen of royal fiction.” Her other books include “The Queen’s Fool,” “The Virgin’s Lover,” “The Constant Princess” and “The Boleyn Inheritance.”

“The Other Boleyn Girl” is also a major motion picture starring Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, and is currently running in theaters across the country.
