UA Public Radio Presents Kitchens of Consequence Tour

The 13th annual Kitchens of Consequence Tour to benefit WUAL-FM/Alabama Public Radio will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 from 1-4 p.m. The tour features six of Tuscaloosa’s finest private kitchens along with an assortment of food from area caterers and local music.

Speaker at UA to Show How Quilt Project Can Help Voice Unresolved Feelings Over Tuskegee Syphilis Study

The founder of the Bioethics Community Quilt Project in Tuskegee will talk about how her efforts tie into the story of the still-controversial Tuskegee syphilis study at a lecture at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 in room 205 at The University of Alabama’s Gorgas Library.

UA Global Sustainability Series Features Alabama Climatologist John Christy

Dr. John R. Christy, Alabama’s state climatologist and winner of NASA’s Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement, will present his lecture, “Global Warming: By the Numbers,” Feb.26 at 7:30 p.m. in room 127 of the Biology Building on The University of Alabama campus.
