Alliance for Women of Color to Hold Open House at UA for Women’s History Month

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Alliance for Women of Color will celebrate Women’s History Month by hosting an open house Monday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. in 205 Gorgas Library.

Participants are invited to an evening of poetry, song and theater celebrating the unique experiences and perspectives of women of color.

The event is open to the public free of charge.

This event is made possible by the support of the UA Crossroads Community Center, Women’s Resource Center, women’s studies department, Coalition for Diversity and Inclusiveness, Black Faculty & Staff Association and Intercultural Student Council.
