UA Sport Management Lecture Series to Feature Speakers from U.S. Olympic Committee and Dallas Cowboys

sportmanagementlogoTUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The first speaker of the 2007 Fall Distinguished Lecture in Sport Management series will be Glen Werner Roseboom of the U.S. Olympic Committee on Friday, Sept. 14.

She will discuss “Logistical Issues in the Management of U.S. Olympic Committee Sports Programs” at 11:30 a.m. in the Bryant-Denny Stadium Recruiting Room (enter stadium lobby via University Blvd.).

Roseboom began her career with the U.S. Olympic Committee in 1997 as a resident life coordinator and was recently named director of the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center.

The UA Sport Management Lecture Series will feature additional speakers several Fridays throughout the fall. Each talk is designed to discuss different aspects of sports administration and management. The lectures are free and open to the public. The schedule includes:
