UA Enrollment at Record 23,878; Freshman Class Tops 4,300

The University of Alabama moved closer to its total enrollment goal of 28,000 students by enrolling a record 23,878 students this fall. Enrollment at UA is up almost 10 percent over last year. The entering freshman class, at 4,378, is the largest in UA history.

Intercultural Student Council Formed at UA

And, it’s one which University of Alabama researchers are analyzing in hopes it could later improve the digestive performance of humans compromised by intestinal cancer and/or surgery.

Domestic Violence Law Clinic Opens at UA

A new Domestic Violence Law Clinic has opened at The University of Alabama School of Law. The clinic provides free legal assistance to victims of domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault in the West Alabama counties of Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens and Tuscaloosa.
