UA’s ‘Unscripted’ Interactive Theater Troupe to Perform Nov. 13

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Unscripted, the peer education theater troupe of The University of Alabama Women’s Resource Center, will give a performance on Monday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in 301 Ferguson Center.

This performance will be themed around violence against women and it is open to members of the University and West Alabama communities.

Unscripted is an interactive model of theater that tackles a diverse range of social issues including violence against women, racism, heterosexism and others.

During the performance there will be various points where the audience can engage in discussion about the scene. The audience will become more educated as well as influence the outcome of scenes — this is to break down the traditional boundaries between performer and audience.

For more information or to book a performance, contact the UA Women’s Resource Center at 205/348-5040.
