Dr. David Bronner, chief executive officer of the Retirement Systems of Alabama, will be the luncheon speaker at the 2007 Economic Outlook Conference, presented by The University of Alabama’s Center for Business and Economic Research. The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Montgomery.

UA Engineering Awarded Research Grant by Construction Industry Institute

The University of Alabama College of Engineering was awarded a research grant by the Construction Industry Institute. The $153,400 project will research preconstruction planning for renovation projects. This is the first Construction Industry Institute research project awarded directly to The University of Alabama College of Engineering.

UA Professor Receives PRSA Outstanding Educator Award
