UA Students Participate in Cooperative Education Program

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Cooperative Education Program is an academic program in which a student alternates periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment with professionals in their field.

In the program students learn important career-related skills that enhance employment prospects after graduation. The following UA students are currently participating in cooperative education positions:

Cory P. Roberts of Florence is working for NASA in Huntsville. He is majoring in finance with a minor in economics.

Daniel I. Sullivan of Millry is working for Alabama Power Co. in Birmingham. He is majoring in chemical and biological engineering

Joy Driver of Clanton is working for Southern Nuclear in Inverness. She is majoring in chemical and biological engineering.

Robert David Rahm III of Decatur is working for Alabama Power Co. He is majoring in mechanical engineering.

Todd Aycock of Birmingham (zip code 35242) is working for Sparta Inc. in Huntsville. He is majoring in electrical engineering.
