TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama office of student judicial affairs is sponsoring a students’ rights and responsibilities forum on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.
Panelists include Joel Sogol and Mary Turner, defense attorneys, and Chris England, Tuscaloosa prosecutor. At the end of the question and answer panel, Hugh Lee, director of the elder law and civil clinic programs, will discuss services offered by the Law School Legal Defense Clinic.
“I see so many situations when students really do not know what rights they have in our city,” said Dr. Tim Hebson, associate dean of students and director of student judicial affairs. “This forum will help students understand what is expected of them.”
