TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Community Service Center is sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 20-21, in the Ferguson Center Plaza from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Due to Hurricane Katrina there is an increased need for blood. Volunteers can stop by the Bloodmobile to make their donations.
The CSC coordinates student volunteers and places them into needed areas in the community based on the volunteer’s specific interest. The center also sponsors and organizes special projects including Ripple Effect, Beat Auburn Beat Hunger, Hunger and Homelessness Week, Alternative Spring Break and the Volunteer Academy Awards.
