The University of Alabama is partnering with local and national agencies to actively offer assistance to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and to lend support to those who have evacuated their homes during this national tragedy. UA’s campus is home to a shelter for evacuees, and students, staff, and the Tuscaloosa community are helping to meet the needs of those affected by the storm.
