TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – One of south India’s top rated flutists, Dr. N. Ramani, and his troupe will give a free concert open to the public on Sunday, May 23, from 2-4 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Theater on The University of Alabama campus.
Ramani is considered to be south India’s counterpart to musicians such as James Galway and Jean Pierre Rampal. He is recognized as a world-renowned musician and composer.
The event is organized by the UA Capstone International Center, the Indian Association of Tuscaloosa and others.
