TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The fourth annual University of Alabama McNair Scholars Research Conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Alabama Museum of Natural History in Smith Hall on the UA campus.
The McNair Program is a national academic program offering qualified students the chance for faculty mentoring and participation in research projects.
The research conference begins at 4 p.m. with an introduction by Dr. Charles Nash, vice chancellor of academic affairs for the UA System. Student presentations will take place from 4:15-6 p.m.; the schedule of presentations will be as follows:
