TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama School of Social Work is still accepting applications to its Mobile-based Masters of Social Work (M.S.W.) Program.
Classes will begin in June 2002.
The program, established in 2000, is the result of cooperation between UA and the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) to assist DHR employees and others who reside in or near the southern part of the state to comply with new DHR educational requirements for social workers.
The Mobile program is structured so those students are able to complete the M.S.W. degree in two years. Some six courses required during the first year of the program are taught largely in the Mobile area, with students traveling to the Tuscaloosa campus two or three times each semester.
For further information or to obtain an application packet, please call the UA School of Social Work at 205/348-6791.
