Sarah Moody Gallery Of Art To Present “Empathy Zones”

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art at The University of Alabama will present Memphis-based artist Sara Good’s exhibit “Empathy Zones,” Jan. 5 through Feb. 4.

A free public reception hosting Good will take place at the gallery on Friday, Jan. 12, from 6-8 p.m.

Good’s sculptural works create narrative environments, which bear some relationship to each other in content and presentation. These environments contain references to domestic life and its integration with the natural world. Good has exhibited her work across the South and has works in private collections across the Southeastern United States.

Funding support for the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art is provided by the department of art and UA’s College of Arts and Sciences.

The gallery is located in 103 Garland Hall on the UA campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 2-5 p.m. on Sundays. For more information on the gallery or upcoming exhibits, call 205/348-1890.
