UA’s Women’s Resource Center Continues Feast and Focus Lecture Series

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Women’s Resource Center at The University of Alabama is continuing the “Feast & Focus” lecture series for women during the 2000 spring semester.

The lecture series works to empower and educate women on different topical issues such as communication, women’s health, women’s history and family issues. Women are invited to bring a sack lunch while attending the lectures on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 204B at the Ferguson Center.

The dates and topics of the lectures are as follows:

Feb. 9 -Women and Migraines (lecture held in Ferguson Forum)

Feb.16 -Women and Tension

Feb. 23 -Women and TMJ

March 1 – Women and Allergy Headaches (lecture held in Ferguson Forum)

March 15 – Women Around the World

March 22 – African American Women and Health Care

April 5 – Raising a Non-Racist Child

April 12 – Mentoring Girls

April 19 – Mothers and Sons
