Dr. Christopher Lynn is an associate professor of anthropology and director of evolutionary studies. He studies the diversity and evolution of non-conscious cognitive behaviors that underlie cooperation, ritual and recreation. His research interests include biocultural medical anthropology, human behavioral ecology, evolutionary studies, cultural impacts on health, dissociation, absorption and trance and signaling theory. He has researched, written and speaks about evolution education in the South, and tattooing.
