Brian Gannon

Associate Professor

Dr. Brian Gannon is an associate professor in the department of pediatrics at The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences. He is a general pediatrician with several years of experience. Gannon’s special interests include adoption, ADHD, multiple births and children with developmental delays. 

Gannon completed his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University before attending the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. Gannon went on to complete three years of residency training in pediatrics at Saint Louis University’s Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Gannon and his wife, Michele, are active in the foster care community as foster care parents and advocates, particularly to children who are medically fragile. Currently, they are parents to eight children.
