Expertise
Dr. Alison Hooper teaches courses in early childhood curriculum and instruction. Her research focuses on measuring and improving the quality of early childhood educational settings and increasing access to high-quality early education for children at risk. She completed her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Delaware, where she also worked as a Limited Term Researcher with the Delaware Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a kindergarten teacher in Wilmington, Delaware.
