The University of Alabama National Alumni Association has announced the 2017 recipients of the University’s highest honor for excellence in teaching – the Outstanding Commitment to Teaching Awards.
Abigail Greenberg, a senior from Montgomery majoring in nursing, was announced as The University of Alabama’s 2017 Homecoming Queen.
In a nationwide poll conducted last month, college students voted for their favorite professors on RateMyProfessors.com. Out of the 1.7 million professors from more than 7,500 colleges on the site, one stood above all the rest: Douglas Klutz, the internship and advising director and a full-time criminal justice instructor at The University of Alabama.
The Mark G. Foster Scholarship is awarded annually to a member of the UA professional staff and honors the memory of the late PSA president.
