The University of Alabama will honor the scholarship and leadership of students and faculty with 2006 Honors Week activities on campus April 3-7.
The University of Alabama National Alumni Association (NAA) recently chose the recipients of the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Awards and Alumni Student Awards. The recipients will be recognized at the annual Alumni Weekend luncheon on Saturday, April 1 at noon in the Bryant Conference Center.
The Plank Center for Public Relations Studies at The University of Alabama will award up to $25,000 in competitive grants to scholars and professionals to study leadership in public relations. The grants of $2,500 to $10,000 will support research that advances knowledge of leadership in the profession and helps develop excellence in leadership.
