The University of Alabama Graduate School has announced the 2006-2007 recipients of Graduate Council Fellowships, the most prestigious and competitive graduate fellowships at UA awarded to graduate students with the highest academic and scholarly qualifications.
Dr. Arthur C. Benke, a professor of biological sciences at The University of Alabama whose latest book has won national honors, is the winner of the University’s Blackmon-Moody Outstanding Professor Award.
Dr. Patti L. Harrison, professor of school psychology at The University of Alabama, has been awarded the 2006 Jack Bardon Distinguished Service Award by the Division of School Psychology in the American Psychological Association.
