UA Receives First ‘Extra Mile’ Award for Top Minority Graduate Program

The University of Alabama has received the prestigious Extra Mile Award and has been ranked number one in the Southern Regional Education Board’s State Minority Doctoral Scholars program, coordinated by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

UA Engineering Awarded Research Grant by Construction Industry Institute

The University of Alabama College of Engineering was awarded a research grant by the Construction Industry Institute. The $153,400 project will research preconstruction planning for renovation projects. This is the first Construction Industry Institute research project awarded directly to The University of Alabama College of Engineering.
