Read, general counsel for Friends of Farmworkers, Inc., a legal services provider in Philadelphia, has been awarded the 2007 Morris Dees Justice Award, given by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates and The University of Alabama School of Law. Morris Dees will present the award during a reception at Skadden’s offices in New York on Nov. 15.
