UA College of Education Announces 2012 Educator Hall of Fame Inductees

Four outstanding educators were recently inducted into the The University of Alabama College of Education Educator Hall of Fame. The late Dr. Harold Bishop, Dr. Paul Hubbert, Jeanice Kirkland and Dr. Jayne Meyer were inducted as inaugural members of the Hall of Fame.

Dr. Bobby Wilson, a professor in the department of geography at The University of Alabama, has been named the recipient of the 2012 Presidential Achievement Award, given by the Association of American Geographers, for his career-long dedication to anti-racist scholarship in geography.
