The University of Alabama will host the regional conference for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers on campus from March 31 to April 2. It will include a contest of small-scale cars fueled by chemical reactions.

The University of Alabama’s Moundville Archaeological Park’s 16th Annual Knap-In, previously slated for March 11-12, has been rescheduled due to forecasts of severe weather. The event is now scheduled for Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30.

Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity will be hosting a “Pie-a-Beta” fundraiser in the Ferguson Center. The event, which will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 24, will give people the chance to “pie” members of the fraternity for a small donation.
TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama has had its StormReady status renewed by the National Weather Service. “We are happy to have earned recertification as a StormReady University from the National Weather Service,” said Dr. Donald Keith, University of Alabama director of emergency preparedness. “The certification signifies that the University’s severe weather plans, procedures and resources
