UA Office of Student Media to Unveil Wall of Fame

The University of Alabama Office of Student Media will unveil the 2003 “Wall of Fame,” to honor and preserve the names of distinguished leaders in media. The event will take place Friday, Oct. 10, at 4:30 p.m. at the Student Media Building, located at 923 University Blvd., on the corner of University Blvd. and Stadium Drive.

UA-Sponsored Nursing Hall of Fame Set for Oct. 9

Twelve people, including the director of a World Health Organization center, a woman who advised four U.S. presidents on health care issues of the elderly, and a hospital administrator who developed an innovative patient classification system, will be inducted in the Alabama Nursing Hall of Fame, established by The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing.
