Allison Gabriel is a student at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa. Her journey began at The University of Alabama’s Rise program. The research taking place at Rise influences early childhood education for children with and without special needs. Since 1974, more than 10,000 children have taken part in this environment of inclusion and acceptance.
