TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Justice Smyth of Tuscaloosa was elected president of the Student Government Association at The University of Alabama for the 2006-2007 term.
Some 4,221 total votes were cast in the election that was held March 4, 7 and 8.
Smyth received 2,630 votes to defeat challengers Adam Rankin, Robert Steiner and Corbin Martin.
