UA Professor to Join Supply Chain Forum Editorial Board

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Dr. Alexander E. Ellinger, Morrow Faculty Excellence Fellow and professor of marketing and supply chain management at The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration, has accepted an appointment to the 26-member editorial board of Supply Chain Forum, an International Journal.

The journal, published twice a year by the Institute for Supply Chain Excellence of BEM Bordeaux Management School in France, is concerned with the management and optimization of flows in the supply chain from primary supplier to final customer. It provides in-depth research articles and company case studies that enrich the knowledge of the discipline and the practices of supply chain management.

Contents of the journal and the associated Web site are targeted to professors and researchers and toward students and supply chain managers and consultants.

Ellinger also serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Business Logistics, International Journal of Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management — International Journal, Industrial Marketing Management and Journal of Business Research.

The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration was established in 1919 and, in 1929, became the 38th school to earn admission into the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business. The excellence of the UA business school has been acknowledged on a national level. The undergraduate program is ranked 29th among public universities by U.S. News, and the Culverhouse School of Accountancy is ranked 15th among public universities by U.S. News. The graduate accounting program is ranked 15th, and the undergraduate program 14th, by Public Accounting Report. The entrepreneurial program is ranked 20th nationally.
