ANNOUNCEMENTS

PROJECT TO AFFECT 13TH STREET — Beginning Friday, May 29, 13th Street from Hillard Drive to McFarland Boulevard will be closed for approximately 30 days, weather permitting, according to the city of Tuscaloosa. During this closure, the Alabama Department of Transportation and Ikaros will be working on the east end of 13th Street at the McFarland Boulevard intersection as part of the McFarland Boulevard and 15th Street project. Access to Little Peoples Day Care and a nearby apartment complex will be maintained.

ROOF REPLACEMENT TO AFFECT CAMPUS SIDEWALK — The sidewalk on the west side of Manly Hall along with 14 adjacent parking spaces will be closed until July 27 to allow for a roof replacement.

SPORTS TEAMS IN POST-SEASON PLAY — Alabama’s rugby 7’s team will compete in the national rugby championship for the first time, May 30-31. For more on UA sports clubs, visit http://urec.sa.ua.edu/sportsclub.cfm.
