Five Elected to 2014 UA Homecoming Queen Court

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The 2014 University of Alabama Homecoming Court was selected in a Tuesday, Nov. 18, student election.

These students were selected as members of the court:

Kevyn Armstrong-Wright, a senior English major from Auburn, who was sponsored by the Honors College Assembly.

Allison Montgomery, a senior biology major from Talladega, who was sponsored by Tri Delta.

Karolyn Perry, a senior finance major from Vestavia Hills, who was sponsored by the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Catherine Porter, a senior accounting-economics major from Orlando, Florida, who was sponsored by Kappa Alpha Theta.

Emily Zabor, a graduate student in marketing from Marietta, Georgia, who was sponsored by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

A total of 8,188 votes were cast. The queen will be crowned at halftime of the homecoming football game between UA and Western Carolina.

The game begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Homecoming Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22 in downtown Tuscaloosa and moves through the campus.

The Homecoming rally and bonfire will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, on the UA Quad.
