STUDENT AFFAIRS
• Computer Virus Activity on April 1. A computer virus called the Conficker worm is scheduled to activate on April 1. This worm is thought to already have infected many computers running Windows, but it has not yet caused any damage. On April 1, infected computers will start communicating with each other, and security experts do not know whether they will be used to send spam or to attack other computers. To keep your computer from being part of this unfunny “April Fools” event, first run the Windows Update program under your Start menu and make sure all critical updates are installed. Next, make sure your antivirus software is updated and run a complete scan of your hard drive. If you do not have antivirus software, or if your subscription has expired, download the University-licensed McAfee Antivirus.

Students who are currently enrolled at UA may purchase one student season ticket package that includes all seven home games for a total cost of $35. The student ticket order form is available only online at www.rolltide.com. Click on TICKETS at the top of the page, then Student Tickets next to Football. Click on Register under Option 1. You will need your CWID to register. You must complete this step before you can purchase tickets. Come back to this site on April 6 and click on Option 2 to order tickets. Student seating is limited and tickets will sell out rapidly. Students are encouraged to place their order as quickly as possible.
