Regions Bank Donates Bikes to UA’s BamaBikes Program

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Regions Bank will present 25 new green bicycles to The University of Alabama’s BamaBikes program on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. The presentation will take place at UA’s Student Recreation Center.

The donation is in conjunction with a Regions Bank Build a Better Bank Bike Tour through North Central Alabama to encourage customers to review their current financial situation and learn about the services Regions provides as well as to thank the community for their business.

Founded in 2006, UA’s BamaBikes program provides a low-cost bicycle rental system for the UA community. The program was developed to help students, faculty and staff move around campus in a quick, safe and sustainable fashion. 

Note to media: The presentation will be held in front of the University Recreation Center, 401 5th Ave. East in Tuscaloosa. You may park in the Recreation Center parking lot.
