…The best hopes for curbing high prices, according to Peter Clark, University of Alabama assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering, is to carpool, double up on trips and cut back on driving overall…Clark said the high prices may be unjustified; negotiations are under way worldwide to increase oil production and Saudi Arabian officials supposedly upped that country’s oil production, but it could still take a month to six weeks for that oil to make it to the market and lower prices. “We’re looking at an entire summer of high prices,” he said.
Sykora receives another honor
