TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Elizabeth Utsey Sadler will assume the position of assistant dean for advancement at The University of Alabama School of Law on July 5.
Sadler, a 1992 graduate of The University of Alabama and a 1996 graduate of the School of Law, will work to raise major gifts, including those for the school’s ongoing building campaign. She also will help oversee the Law School Foundation, alumni relations, the Farrah Law Society, and Law School publicity and publications.
Sadler has been associated with the Tuscaloosa firm of Rosen, Cook, Sledge, Davis, Cade & Shattuck and previously practiced with the firm of Donald, Randall & Donald, also in Tuscaloosa.
An active leader in many community organizations, she is married to Leon Sadler, a 1995 Law School graduate, is the daughter of William Utsey, a 1965 Law School graduate, and is the sister of Jeff Utsey, also a 1995 Law School graduate.
Sadler will replace Robert H. Shaw, a 1984 Law School graduate and former president of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association.
