…Wednesday was a Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build day, and six of the Alabama coaches’ wives, including Terry Saban, were on the site of the almost completed Habitat for Humanity house. “It’s a great way for us to come together and do something for the community,” Saban said. “It’s a great feeling of accomplishment when we can come together and combine the social aspect with work, and also accomplish something great.”…

The panel included Scott Allshouse of Whole Foods Market, Stephen Berry of GE Transmission and Distribution, Randall Fields of M & F Bank of Alabama and Phillip Johson, a UA associate professor and co-founder of Engineers Without Borders. “The corporate panel gave students an opportunity to realize that it doesn’t matter what their expertise is as a student. Lunafest to showcase filmmaking talent

…It’s the seventh year for the Lunafest film event, sponsored by the makers of the Luna Bar, and the seventh time the UA Women’s Resource Center has sponsored its showing in Tuscaloosa. The resource center provides advocacy and counseling for students, faculty and staff at UA who are victims of stalking, sexual assault and dating or domestic violence. Other Women’s Resource Center-sponsored events include the upcoming ‘Wounded Hearts’ exhibit, beginning April 8 at the campus Ferguson Center and a Take Back the Night rally April 22 at Denny Chimes.
Bishop talks theology at bar
