Alan Jackson to perform at UA A-Day

Country music star Alan Jackson will perform at Bryant-Denny Stadium on April 11 as part of festivities surrounding the University of Alabama’s A-Day game…Events on April 11 will include the concert, a pep rally introducing the team, appearances by coaches and other fan activities. The game itself will be April 12. Alabama is one of 20 schools that are host sites for the Gridiron Bash. Also participating will be Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Kansas State, Colorado, Arizona State, Penn State, South Carolina and West Virginia. Other schools will be announced later…’We are excited to be a part of the first-ever Gridiron Bash,’ UA head football coach Nick Saban said in a press release. ‘There’s no doubt the enthusiasm and support of our fans showed the country at last year’s A-Day Game helped this idea become a reality…Tickets for the concert are $56 for field seats and $39 for stadium seats…Tickets for the A-Day game itself will still be free…
