Religion Discussion Group will Meet at UA to Discuss Book ‘Alabama Baptists’

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The American Religion Discussion Group will meet on The University of Alabama campus on March 1, 2003, in the Anderson Room (third floor) of the Ferguson Student Center from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The topic for discussion at this meeting is the book “Alabama Baptists” by Dr. Wayne Flynt of Auburn University. He will be a participant in the meeting.

People interested in participating in the breakfast and discussion should read “Alabama Baptists” in advance. Copies of the book are available at the SUPE Store on the University campus.

The American Religion Discussion Group is a semi-annual gathering of American religion historians. Participants are from colleges and universities in the South including Clemson, Vanderbilt, Tennessee at Chattanooga, Georgia, Samford, Auburn and Alabama.
