The University of Alabama Early College has significantly reduced tuition costs for high school students enrolling in its dual enrollment program.

Capstone Learning Academy Holds First Pre-K Graduation
The University of Alabama’s new early child development center graduated its inaugural class of pre-K students.
Why This Matters: Capstone Learning Academy opened in fall 2024 and serves families needing full-time childcare services. Capstone Learning Academy is designed to meet the learning and developmental needs of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Professor, Foster Youth Advocate Honored
Dr. Sebrena Jackson, associate professor in the School of Social Work, has been named the recipient of the Lahoma Adams Buford Endowed Peace Award for 2025.
