Rebecca K. Ivic, Ph.D., is a professor and social scientist studying how health evidence becomes credible and usable across public health, health systems, digital platforms, and policy. Her scholarly record spans 150+ articles and presentations and nearly $3 million in research support, including NIH/NIMHD, HRSA-funded work, foundations and other support. Her research has been published in Nature Health, Nature Human Behaviour, alongside leading health communication and public health journals. Ivic is commissioner and co-secretariat lead of the Nature Medicine Commission on Quality Health Information for All and incoming editor-in-chief of the Journal of Health Communication. She has spoken at the World Health Summit, the United Nations General Assembly, World Health Summit Regional Meeting in Nairobi, the OECD, the Consortium for Universities in Global Health, and many others. Her global work includes ongoing collaborations with WHO, UNICEF, OECD, and other global partners.
